                                                                                      This is a solid local non sports bar slightly upscale restaurant in the neighborhood that we like to come for dinner, but we know service is overall fair at best, and often not great. But we overlook it and come when we want a nicer sit down place with. We recently came for a weeknight dinner. Was seated and waited at least fifteen minutes and no server came by. Had to flag down a passing server to put an order in, and then after waiting a very long time, had to ask about the bread service we ordered. Food is ok, ordered a filet that was severely overdone. I think this experience will be it for us.

                                                                                      Stonewood is one of our neighborhood favorites. The food and service were great. We ordered the Chef's special...Apple Butter Pork Chop, and it was delicious. We especially appreciated that the restaurant granted our wish to be seated at a booth rather than one of the tables. Special thanks to our server, Lauren, for a great job during a busy dining hour.

It was exactly what we needed for a quiet but still let’s go out New Year’s Eve dinner. Our waiter was amazing and everyone was super nice. We enjoyed the food and look forward to going back.
