   I wanted so much to like this restaurant. My family loves Mexican food, having lived in Houston and the Rio Grande Valley. But basic operational issues kept us from enjoying our experience. We booked a reservation for 4, arrived 10 minutes early, and had to stand around—with nowhere to sit and wait—for 15 minutes while staff went up to the 3rd floor lounge and added tables and place settings so they could seat people up there. I saw two couples who were seated up there leave because they were upset with the slow service and remote seating location. For example, they brought my son’s tortilla soup AFTER he had finished his meal! The food was OK, but not great. And they automatically added a SERVICE CHARGE and an 18% gratuity for a party of only 4 people! Also, this restaurant hasn’t nailed down its identity yet—is it a Mexican restaurant, or a sports bar (multiple TVs showing football games) or a bar for pre-gaming? It was loud, disorganized, didn’t seem to understand a reservation system, and the food was mid—and our bill was almost $300! Hard pass for me in the future!

   Food was authentic and delicious! Enjoyed the margaritas,too. Definitely recommend the shrimp tacos and the Mexican street corn salad!

   The food was ok not the best, but not the worst. Didn't appreciate that they added an 18% gratuity for 2 people and didn't say anything about doing so, ended up spending a lot of money for just ok food. I have had better.

   Made a dinner reservation for my birthday. Was unaware that there was also going to be a bar crawl there for Halloween. It took 20 minutes to get a server to our table to get waters and order food. We had to ask 2 servers for utensils and our appetizer of chips and guac never came. They also had the bar crawl people surrounding us and people were hovering over me while I was trying to eat dinner. The food was good but I feel the experience could have been better. I don’t think they can handle dinner/bar crawl and I think next time they should keep the bar crawl downstairs and allow people to eat their dinner upstairs

   a little on the pricey side ($10 for one serving of elote is crazy) but food is fantastic and vibe is fun. good drinks

   Tacos were very good. Fun Halloween decorations. Music a bit loud but energetic! Be aware of auto added tip and service charges.

   First time at Sueno and it will not be the last. Funny the place is right in the neighborhood and have walk by a thousand times but not gone in. We were looking for something local and thought Mexican would be great. Sueno has a cool atmosphere, friendly service and really good food and drinks. We had a simple appetizer plate with guacamole, queso and pico with some chips. All were very good and fresh. I had the brisket taco and would recommend these for a really good taco you willl not find in every shop. My wife had shrimp tacos and said the were better than the other taco places around like El Vez. All in solid experience and we will be going back on a regular basis.

    Food was great came out quickly the drinks were amazing definitely suggest the bourbon smash… already planning another trip back.
