The food and service were great. I have been to sugar jam several times and always enjoy the food and services. However, the music was so loud that you could not hear each other sitting across table. I love music, but music was too loud to enjoy the meal. I do not recommend this place on weekends due to excessive noise.

As always, we had a spectacular experience at Sugar Jam. The food is consistently good as is the service ( thank you Jermanay)!This is a great neighborhood black-woman locally owned experience for not only special occasions, but day-to-day good food! Dr B and P

I love Sugar Jam. I've been there several times. Whenever I have out of town guests, I always make reservations for this spot... my favorite brunch spot. The food is wonderful and plentiful. The servers and hosts are always friendly. The weekends are deejay. It's fun. People dance a little bit. I don't have a favorite dish because I try something different each time I go and have always been satisfied. I can't wait to go again.

The food was good, service was good, and the value was exceptional. The music was a bit too loud but the DJ had a good vibe going throughout. Looking forward to go back again.

This has been a consistently great place to enjoy a wonderful meal and service! Navante has been our server before and is excellent. The Southern inspired food (including grits, fried chicken nuggets, biscuits, shrimp, sausage gravy, salmon patties, for example) as well as the standard excellent coffee is stellar. The atmosphere is energized but not overwhelming. We love this place! Dr. B and P
