Located in the lively Gulch entertainment district, Sunda offers a vibrant Southeast Asian dining experience, blending the flavors of Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, and beyond. We elevate culturally significant dishes using high-quality ingredients and modern techniques. Our beverage program includes signature handcrafted cocktails, a robust sake and wine selection, and Asian whiskies and beers. Join us for weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm, or stop by during happy hour Monday to Friday from 4-6pm featuring $6 bar bites, handrolls, and beer, $9 cocktails and wine, and $10 sake. Our venue hosts private events for occasions from corporate outings to rehearsal dinners, and we also offer catering services.

    Wonderful meal. One of us has severe allergies to red meat and dairy. She was extremely helpful in researching all ingredients so we could eat safely.

    Sunda is fantastic - food & drinks are excellent. Service is literally unapologetic- food comes out as it’s prepared which makes sense for the vibe. We love it there and highly recommend.

    Great experience. The server was great, the entire team there is great! Food selections for whatever you feeling is abundant. Really enjoyed it overall. It’s a busing spot so not the best for quiet conversation but it worked out just fine.

    Delicious food and great space. Just wish it was a *tiny* bit less costly for what you're getting, like some of the appetizers. 4 oxtail potstickers, while delicious, shouldn't cost $30.

    Had a fantastic evening at Sunda. Everything we got off of the menu had a freshness and clean flavor profile...made for a favorable gustatory experience! The cocktails were great and our server (Rihanna) selected a fantastic sake for us. More of a "treat yoself" experience than an everyday dinner but so lucky to have such a beautiful menu to work our way through! Will definitely be visiting again!

    Nice experience, nothing short from a standard downtown restaurant expectation. Our server spoke really fast, in a way he was just tryna finish his sentence to move on to other work. But he was attentive for the restaurant being very busy. Don’t show up early, you will be seated at the exact time of reservation. The food was good, but some of their food isn’t worth the price. The ambience was nice, don’t have a lot of decor going on and not a lot of soft lighting. Very dim low lighting ambience. Overall I recommend coming here for occasional nice events! From someone who has been to almost every downtown restaurant, or restaurant in Middle Tennessee.

    We visited from Nebraska and we saw there was a Sunda in Nashville while looking for fun spots to dine at. Based upon our previous Chicago-Sunda experiences in years past, we had no other choice but to enjoy! Sunda is truly a phenomenal culinary experience and our server Amanda S. was outstanding with her menu knowledge, promptness, and exceptional service! We can’t wait to come back!

    Unique menu. Great flavors. Loved our food. Spicy edamome, pork belly buns are the bomb. We sat at the bar and Mitch was incredible. Made our experience even better.
