Surf Shack is a casual, locally owned restaurant & bar in the Westchase neighborhood of Tampa.

Our menu features casual seafood including snow crab legs and on weekends we offer our all you can eat promotion both Saturday & Sundays which includes much more than crab legs. In addition to seafood we also have other great casual fare including our Famous Gourmet Tacos. Not your ordinary tacos some of our favorites are Tuna Poke, Surf n' Turk, Bacon Cheeseburger, Filet Mignon and Blackened Grouper.

The atmosphere is very casual but also very unique. Multiple booths, banquet that can seat up to 20, indoor seating and outdoors under an awning. Big screen tv's visible at every seat, Full bar with seating and a gaming lounge next door with video games, pinball and a Golf Simulator Suite.

Family Friendly but nice environment for the empty nesters as well.

We went with friends specifically to hear Jeannie and Larry play. Our server Will was awesome. One of our friends, who is going through chemo and is experiencing terrible mouth sores, said it was the best meal she had in days. Everyone was pleased with their food and Jeannie and Larry were awesome!

Great experience for 10 of us ranging from 7-82. My 15 year old son thoroughly enjoyed his all you can eat crab legs. Everyone else loved their meals. They offer large portions, great quality & very affordable prices. My sister-in-law is a foodie from the area. This was her first time & she plans to bring her lady’s dinner club there soon.

This is my third time going for all you can eat crab. I have to tell you it is a fun experience and date night. But we’ve also gone with kids one time. The service is really what makes it stand out.

We came from St. Pete because Open Table had it down as an all-you-can-eat experience with crab legs. Our waitress was very attentive, and polite, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out in a large metal bowl and was arranged very nicely. We got coleslaw, plantains, cold shrimp, crab legs, and pretzel bread. Everything was delicious and they had no problem making sure we had enough food to eat before we left. My husband hesitated to go, but after our experience, we will be back and bring our family with. Great experience!!

Great to have places still do all you can eat crab legs. Food was delicious but some of the crab leg reorders were slightly overcooked. They were out of the peel and eat shrimp but we did have grilled shrimp substituted for it and it was very good. We drive an hour to get to the Surf Shack and would make the drive to visit again.
