   Chef Alex is a great guy, filled with motivation, creativity, and an amazing intuition for mixing flavors, which include fresh and fermented ones. The pairings with wine or sake are precise. The ambiance is just perfect for enjoying the food, a nice chat, and perfect for a date. Finally, the staff is just amazing, the servers are so attentive and even sweet. One of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had so far. So happy I live in SF to enjoy this mor than once. Now it’s your turn.

   Our first time here and it was memorable. Interesting menu, tasty sushi, and a house brand beer which was fantastic. The service was exceptional in every way. We ordered off the a la carte menu and everything we got was delicious. Portions are modest which wasn’t at all an issue as everything was great and we reordered a couple of our most fave items. Good ambience and beautiful space. We will def be back.

   Smallest pieces of fish, pre dipped in the amount of soy the average hot Cheetos enjoyer likes. Priced at daylight robbery. There’s a shake shack around the block if you’re still hungry after

    we came here for Valentine’s Day and thought the food was great but there was no  warning online about there being a price change for Valentine’s Day, which it was $255 per person which originally it was 170.  the fish was fresh and the food was good but I don’t think it was $255 worth

   It was one of the best Japanese meals I have had in a long time. You can see and taste the thought and time spent in each dish. Chef Alex was very engaging and attentive throughout the meal. Very detail oriented and the other staff were also great. If you appreciate good sushi with great service with attention to detail and top-notch quality, I recommend Sushi Hakko. We came for our anniversary and we were so glad we chose this restaurant. Must try their dessert also. The truffle cheesecake was perfection. The chef said he took 2 years to hone the recipe.! It was our first time, and now, won't be our last time dining there.
