With commitment to that philosophy, Tamura features sustainable seasonal ingredients of the Pacific Northwest in authentic Japanese preparation. Tamura is a Kappo style restaurant where food is prepared in an open kitchen and served quickly in a lively environment where staff and guests talk about the food and beyond. Our goal is to become the very best restaurant to our guests by getting to know them and serving them in a personable yet professional manner. *Please note that a 20% living wage charge is included (dine in only). The house retains 100% of these charges to help fund higher wages and benefits to all staff. Additional gratuity is not expected.

Omakase experience was excellent Matt our chef was great to talk to throughout the experience. The sushi was outstanding. We also got to pick the brains of another chef as well as ours for local hot spots in the city.

Always just the best❤️. This is the only place in Seattle to go to for bold sushi! Mean bold in that always trying new flavors with the sushi. And OMG get the Halibut Tempura! I am dreaming about it!

Fantastic as always, Chef Taichi is a true maestro and his service team, top notch. Try the mustard green/albacore dish along with your omakase. You'll thank me later.

Absolutely phenomenal omakase experience. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and the chef’s attention to detail made it unforgettable. Highly recommend the hamachi toro!
