Sushi Mambo is a Japanese and Latin fusion sushi restaurant located in New York and run by Chef Mitsuhisa Nishio who emigrated from the Dominican Republic. The menu was created to be a fusion of Caribbean cuisine and traditional Japanese cuisine. Sushi Mambo has appetizers available that range from edamame to tuna tataki and features a chef selection called Mount Fuji, which contains steak, sweet plantain, avocado salad and pico de gallo. The menu at Sushi Mambo offers an impressive list of various sushi rolls broken into two sections: fusion rolls and traditional rolls. Main course options available are salmon, Japanese curry shrimp and Dominican fried rice.

To much hookah, the noise is ok and the area further from the hookah the light couldn’t be turned on.

We were greeted kindly at the door and seated within seconds. I came with my family and we all enjoyed the experience at Shush Mambo.. the music was lite and the drink was worth it. My son and daughter both liked the establishment can said it was different from what we are used to back home so don't be discouraged to come here with kids, they will like it here.

The food first of all was absolutely mouth watering I loved everything the fusion rolls the mat y tierra the fried rice and let me tell you those happy hour drinks taste so fruity and calm but they sneak up on you and get you super lit I loved it best bday dinner and I’ll be back soon 🥰 we all loved it the waitress tried to be kind but her demeanor was intimidating and uninspiring now the mail servers were absolutely outstanding and the bartender I wish I could have gotten his name he was absolutely outstanding

The food was amazing, I especially loved the Sherman Creek sushi. Definitely different than what I'm used to when it comes to a sushi experience, but overall delicious. The waitress was very nice. It was my daughter's birthday and we had a great time. I would definitely recommend

Everything Everything was good. More than happy. Been thinking of goin back since I left. Me, my daughter and a few extras will be back soon. Came here for my daughter birthday she love it!

First time visiting this establishment. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a hookah that came 2 seconds before our food so we weren’t really able to enjoy it. The person that brought the hookah wanted us to pay for the hookah in cash there and then but I was paying with a card and when I explained this to him he literally looked at me like I was crazy. Make your rules clear if that’s how you run your establishment and let the patron know when the hookah is ordered. Had I known I had to pay for it in cash I wouldn’t have ordered it. Regardless they added it to the tab which is what should’ve been done to begin with, without there being any awkwardness. The food was way, way, over priced. Sushi made my friend sick. Never again.
