Formerly in Queens, our restaurant created a space for people to eat, drink, celebrate, and experience Eastern European cuisine. Now in the West Village, we aim to bring our community together for a meal that makes you feel at home. Sveta is new, but also homey and modern. Walk in for a beer or a quick bite, or bring a party of 60 and dance until midnight.

Family style European/Ukrainian cuisine with a Portuguese influence. Join us to celebrate, love life and family.

On weekends groups of more than 7 its a minimum of $60 per person. Come & Stop By to be parry of the Sveta Family

                                                                  Great vibe for the holidays. Decked out in decor, with whimsical drinks! Had the steak and fries which was tasty but petite. Tiramisu was delicious but a very small portion for $16. Overall recommend for the experience.

                                                                  I would not book here if you are a large party or if you are looking to sit and relax and enjoy a night out at a relaxing pace. For a party of 10 we spent $950 and every single person in the group felt that the servers rushed us every step of the way. From the moment we sat down to taking drinks away from our table that weren't even finished to clear our table for the next guests, it was very very rushed. We were in and out in 2 hours and for a party of 10 that is fast and yet they still gave us attitude for being delayed. However, nowhere in the opentable booking did it mention a maximum allotted time for a table reservation. If it said 1.5 hours max for a 10 person reservation I never would have booked here. Our group was looking to order cocktails, apps, entrees, more cocktails, and desserts, but because it was so rushed we ordered less drinks and less food than we would have. Everyone was Very disappointed in the service so we will not be going back.

The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was packed with flavor, and the drinks were just as impressive. The ambiance was beautiful, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that made the evening feel special. The staff were also fantastic, polite, and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it was a perfect dining experience, and I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

                                                                  Very cute place, great service, but food was just ok, especially for the money. The “fur” salad was great, but Chicken Kyiv was dry and flat. Also both of our main dishes were re-heated in a microwave and both were scorching hot. Ambience and service were great!

                                                                  Sveta is a beautiful restaurant! The food and customer service was excellent! I made a reservation and was seated right away. The drinks were delicious and the presentation was on point! I went there for my birthday dinner and I am definitely going back for that coconut shrimp!
