The Sweeney works continually with suppliers and local producers in Shropshire, Mid Wales and the surrounding areas to use only the best ingredients, always preferring to source locally where we can.

    Delighted to meet my friend here for dinner. Food was very good, we tried the new 3 menu on a Monday which was exceptional value and delicious. Busy restaurant with a real buzz to it and attentive staff without making you feel rushed. Really pleased and will be back!

    Was surprised to be told I couldn't have the 3 course meal deal as I should of booked it! I did not see this condition on the advert. I had reserved a table not just walked in. This should be made clear on the menu/advert 😥

    The food was fantastic, as usual. The best chips in the area. Quiet, cheerful ambience, polite and gracious waiters, I chose to come here ( again) for my birthday. Sweeney Hall is also truly dog friendly, and its a pleasure afterwards to walk the historic grounds with my dogs, exploring. A lovely place I highly recommend.

    Wonderful dining experience. Sunday lunch with friends. The food and service was fantastic. Maybe addition of another vegetarian option to mains.
