Concerning Christmas Buffet, prime rib was overdone and out of several desserts by 6 30 PM. No dressing unfortunately.

Convenient and decent - hotel is cute and was decorated for Christmas, so lots of picture opportunities. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating for a crowd. (Including kids) It’s buffet which is nice if kept warm and or cold depending on dish. Everything was warm at best. The prime rib station looked good but was chewy. The turkey station was so so - it’s not a carved turkey but rolled breast and dark meat. The ham was good as was the pasta station and it was prepared hot and fresh to order. Their sides were bleh. All the usuals but nothing was great. And they had one salad which looked like kale and quinoa. The meat and cheese area had some good options but again everything was room temperature. The butter nut squash soup was also good but ask for a fresh bowl at the pasta station to ensure it’s hot. They had a small raw bar section with shrimp and crab which was kept cold and was good. If you have kids they had chicken strips, French fries and Mac and cheese at the start of the buffet. If you go earlier in the day they have bottomless mimosas for an up charge of $30 I think. Wine and cocktails are in addition to the fee of $80 per person with an 18% gratuity. The service was good with bringing drinks, as it should be since that is all they do seeing that it’s a buffet. Lastly they have a bunch of mini desserts but none were good - we tasted each and didn’t finish any of them, except for their Christmas cookies. We were tired and hungry from travel and didn’t want to sit through a long dinner but considering the price, I would opt for Signature next time and enjoy my meal.

Sweetfire kitchen My number one complaint is that common allergens like tree nuts and gluten are not listed anywhere as ingredients of buffet items. My son could eat very little of what was offered today during the Christmas buffet due to severe tree nut allergies. There were nut in the salads, half of the sides, and most of the desserts For this reason alone we will not return. It is a very dangerous oversight. Our server was abysmal. She did not offer to tell us about anything. We didn’t know there was a Bloody Mary bar or any special Christmas cocktails. When we told her we didn’t know anything about the buffet, expecting some recommendations, she literally answered, “it’s back there.” Desserts were not individually labeled, nor restocked frequently. For $79 per person, we expected better service, selection, and care. The resort is beautiful. It’s a shame the buffet wasn’t.

I liked the food. My turkey was a little dry. I didn't see any gravy. I had the crab claws and the meat was hard to get out. Should of provided the little Forks for that. Overall it was.good. Really liked the root vetables.

We were expecting a true brunch with breakfast choices. Maybe we misunderstood the advertised meal. For a dinner it was good but def not breakfast. The service and ambience were great. Better directions to the restaurant would also help. Met several guests out in parking lot who were confused as to location of restaurant.

The first crab beignet was good but as I ate more of them, they were cold. The spicy mule was amazing. The shrimp and grits were good but needed more grits.

Thanksgiving food variety was great; flavors were a little bland; guessing to keep it easy for everyone. Service was great but tablecloths were dirty from previous parties. Pretty noisy because of families with young kids; to be expected on the holiday. Prices were outrageous however. Paying for being at the resort.

The buffet-style Thanksgiving Dinner was the best I've ever experienced (and I've experienced many!). For $79pp, the value can't be beat. All the traditional Thanksgiving favorites were represented, and I especially enjoyed the amazing charcuterie spread and seafood appetizers. The variety and quality of the dishes were excellent, and the service was top-notch. The hotel property itself was beautifully decorated for the holidays and there was no shortage of photo ops. Highly recommend for your family Thanksgiving gathering.
