This is Valentine’s Day, any restaurant should be prepared for a busy night. We got there while it was still quiet, around 630. Still, only 3 servers and what looked like a cook that got pulled from the kitchen to help take food out. It took an hour to get 1/2 of our order, and the poor servers were too busy running to notice that my wife never got her food or naan. We shared my plate until we could flag one down. They brought the food finally, and … well it was delicious. But then it took forever to actually flag someone down to pay. We thought seriously about just leaving. We paid of course, and only a 10% tip because while others may not have tipped anything for that service, I still felt bad that they were sweating it out doing the best they could, but that’s not a good impression for one of the busiest nights of the year. But the food was super tasty. We even waited extra long after paying for the leftovers box that we asked for. Such mixed emotions.

The high volume of guests and a surge in online takeout orders impacted our ability to provide a good service.
