   Outstanding dining experience at Takato! Our server, Austin, was simply incredible!! Austin provided numerous suggestions, including how to eat the ribs with the salad, which were very helpful. The GM Paul stopped by to say hi and check in with us. All food tasted amazing. Thank you Takato team! Job well done!

   I got the 5 oz A-5 wagyu and my husband got the A-5 wagyu that you cook at the table on a hot stone. They were both phenomenal. Like seriously, the best steak I’ve ever had. Worth every cent.

   Food was subpar, restaurant was loud and filled with people in bathing suits, service was great. Overall it was fine but overpriced for what you get. Felt more like a beach bar than a high end sushi bar.

   Oyster and ceviche appetizers were absolutely outstanding, as was our service and ambience. The $68 nigiri entrees were not. Only 2 of the fish (toro/fatty tuna and white tuna) were excellent and the rest were fishy. Aside from uni and mackerel, nigiri should not be fishy. We ate here a couple years ago and it was amazing. Maybe we should avoid the sushi entrees and go a la carte. Not sure whether we will be back.

   We sat outside and had a view of the ocean. Our server was great. The sushi was good. The fried rice was good. The salads were great. The sushi roll dessert was amazing.

   Jean Paul, the manager was not there the evening that we visited and I always like to say hello to him because I think he runs a very tight ship. The staff was amazing, juju the server. The service was impeccable and the food, as always was wonderful. I always highly recommend this restaurant as one of the go to places in Fort Lauderdale. Of course the view is wonderful. Show up a little early for your reservation and most of the time if you don’t mind waiting a little, they will accommodate you on the outside dining area.😍

   Brilliant food, authentic Japanese cuisine. Sashimi ver fresh with the fatty tuna being an amazing flavour. The shrimp rice was cooked to perfection
