    Tamasha is the ONE place that finally made me a lover of Indian cuisine. The James Beard nomination is well earned. One of only two restaurants in NC worthy of a Michelin star. If you miss it, it’s your loss. Small, intimate, impeccable staff and service. Chef is a class act and wow! He knows his flavors and still takes time to meet with customers. Make your reservation, plan your special occasion and make that impression. This is the place.

    This restaurant is beautiful and the food is excellent. The chef visited our table multiple times to check on us and see how we were enjoying the meal, which was lovely. The one negative came at the end of the meal, when we all requested that our leftovers be boxed for takeaway. The busser took all dishes in an impressively death-defying stack on his tray, but apparently did not note what belonged to whom. This was a business dinner, with all guests being unrelated, and four people had Butter Chicken. So when he returned with the takeaway bags, he could not identify which Butter Chicken belonged to whom, and was expecting each of the four to just take one, potentially giving each a dish that someone else had been eating from. They all just left the food behind, which was a disappointing end to what was otherwise a lovely meal.

    Excellent food in a delightful spot. Everything was great. Recommend the butter chicken, snapper, TFC, pork belly bao buns. Service was attentive without being intrusive.
