Tana is an upscale Italian restaurant drawing from local Chef Michael Gulotta's New Orleans Sicilian upbringing as well as his time training in the Liguria region of Italy.

Experience cocktails in our comfy lounge with jewel toned plush booths and ambient lighting. Dine in the classically Italian styled main room with wood beams or The Villa, which is light and airy with lots of natural light, as if you're dining al fresca on the Sicilian coast.

    Wonderful evening, service was excellent, food was outstanding, great wine selection (and advice from the sommelier); was not a quiet restaurant-everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. will go again!

    The food was okay nothing to brag about, the service was spectacular. I will they have more seafood options. They change their menu and took a feel things of which was very disappointing.

    I will definitely go back but will order differently! The Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had so I would get that again. The experience was great, service is very attentive and knowledgeable. Drinks are good! The lamb shank was good - and should be for the price - I did not care for the richness of all the sauces or sides. I would definitely never order the octopus again (our server pushed this big time so we were disappointed we deviated from our original plan) plus it’s very expensive for being mostly sauces once again and a very rich, tempura (but somehow soggy) coating. Not my favorite and I love grilled octopus. My husband’s steak was great. Cooked perfectly he ate every bite.

    Awesome ambience during the holidays. The drinks and food were great and our staff made us feel special. The dark chocolate pistachio balls at the end of the meal are amazing.

    The place is beautiful. It’s a little off putting that they won’t seat you until absolutely everyone is there and they won’t let you order appetizers while you look at the menu to decide what you want. It’s kind of like the customer isn’t first. Their convenience is first. The food and service were fine. It’s very pricey. My main complaint is the noise level. We were in the room furthest from the front door and it seemed like on the way out the other room might have been quieter. Our party of five had a very hard time talking. If I returned it would be with just a party of two so you could talk.

    Liked our experience at Tana. Food was excellent, portions a bit on the small side but still plenty to fill you up. Service was good, drinks took some time once ordered so if you think you’re going to have another order it before you need it. Overall pretty good an will be on our return list.

    A true dining experience but it does come at a cost. Food is pricey but everyone loved their choices. Oyster appetizer a must. Fish entree very good as well as chicken. We've been there a few times and the menu stays the same. I'd like to see a few new dishes to try. My criticism is that it's a bit noisy and the base of the table interferes with moving your legs.
