Tana is an upscale Italian restaurant drawing from local Chef Michael Gulotta's New Orleans Sicilian upbringing as well as his time training in the Liguria region of Italy.

Experience cocktails in our comfy lounge with jewel toned plush booths and ambient lighting. Dine in the classically Italian styled main room with wood beams or The Villa, which is light and airy with lots of natural light, as if you're dining al fresca on the Sicilian coast.

    The ambiance is beautiful. The food continues to get worse, often over salted and over cooked. For the cost of the meal it’s just not worth it. 26$ cocktails, 40+$ entrees, 28$ appetizer plus a salad, side and bottle of wine. The value isn’t there when most of the food is almost inedible. The service was excellent. I’ve given this place lots of chances and it’s just not worth it when there is so much better Italian in the city.

    My second visit… as impeccable as my first, food was outstanding, service was fabulous, they sincerely go out of their way to make your experience memorable and worthwhile… highly recommend this experience!!

    Every aspect of our dinning experience was awesome. The space is beautiful and comfortable. The service was excellent and the food amazing. We started with the tasty octopus and meatballs. The bread service was delicious with lardon butter and the mains were all amazing combinations of flavor, quality and presentation. We had Squid Ink Pasta, Veal Marsala, Shrimp Pacherri, and the NY Strip. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other delicious sounding dishes. Would highly recommend.

    Tana nails the cool Italian vibes. The Oysters Trapanese are bright, nutty perfection, and the Tiramisu? Silky, boozy, and downright irresistible. If you’re not saving room for dessert, rethink your choices.

    Anniversary dinner at Tana was a GREAT choice! Service is attentive without being annoying. Food is phenomenal. Meatball appetizer is a “must have”. Pasta cart is exceptional. Another way to rate how great a restaurant is: their bread. Good enough for my wife to ask how it’s made!

    In general all was nice at lunch; however, my pasta was too salty, and Johny, the waiter, was very nice and helpful and brought another pasta dish. I loved the Cesar salad. It’s the best !

    Had a family dinner here and everything was great. We had cocktails in the bar first and the area is comfortable and stylish. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Meatball appetizers and tableside pasta cart are a must! Had an overall enjoyable experience and we will be back!
