    Visited for the first time Was very much looking forward to it. Loved the way the restaurant presented with some very cool decor Service was 5 star and beyond reproach. Honestly the food although good did not knock our socks off But worst of all was the music It didn't match the vibe of the restaurant at all - period Not sure who chose it but they may want to take another look We are planning on visiting again at some point though

    The service and the food was second to none.And it was an amazing experience.I would just say that especially for a 5 PM dinner reservation.Maybe the music could be a little bit softer especially when you're sitting on the side where the d j is.

    On Saturday evening, while celebrating a birthday with friends, our experience at Tao turned unsettling when a 3-foot-long array speaker fell from the wall, narrowly missing our group and damaging the booth where we were seated. Unfortunately, the response from both Tao’s management and Mohegan Sun security left much to be desired. There was a clear lack of empathy for our party and no apparent concern for the safety of other guests seated beneath the remaining mounted speakers. Despite the gravity of the situation, no effort was made to relocate us or check on our well-being after such a distressing event. We cooperated fully with all requests for information from both Tao and Mohegan Sun staff, yet they refused to provide a copy of the incident report or even a reference number, instead directing us to a legal department that wouldn’t be available until Tuesday. When we requested to speak with a property or facilities manager, we were told no one was available. We also followed up with the front desk, but they were equally unable to assist us.

    The food was delicious. The waiter was very kind but waiting 45 minutes to almost an hour for your food was a little crazy but other than that it was worth going.

    All of the food was absolutely delicious. The fortune cookie dessert was an absolute treat. Very large but most decadent fortune cookie I have ever had. Service was lovely too. Music could have been a bit softer as it was a lot by the end of dinner.
