Tavern House is the creation of restaurateurs David Wilhelm and Gregg Solomon who have developed numerous Orange County restaurants over the past 25 years, including Kachina, Bistro 201, Barbacoa, Chat Noir, Diva, Sorrento Grille and French 75. The menu reflects a collection of Chef Wilhelm's popular signature seafood and comfort food dishes. A large centrally located bar drives a vibrant night time scene in what is arguably one of the best view locations in Newport Harbor. Tavern House has a beautiful 50 seat private room for banquets with full views of the harbor and a warm central fireplace.

    So bummed you all got rid of your cornbread. We went wanting to order that first thing and were told you all aren’t serving it anymore. Please bring it back.

    Not the best place for octogenarian birthday celebration: noise level precluded much conversation. We know better than to go out on a Friday night mid-December, but I didn't plan my birth date! Service was excellent, from the elevator to the table. Clam chowder was very tasty, fried chicken a bit dry. Fish & chips: yummy.

    Christian, the bartenders and rest of the wait staff and food runners, bus staff are wonderful. The food is great! We LOVE happy hour here.

    Overall great service and food. Ahi sandwich and beef dip are both outstanding as is Santa Fe Caesar salad. Plenty to share !

    We had a Great night at Tavern House Kitchen celebrating my husband's birthday with our family. The hostess was so sweet and accommodating. We started with a cocktail at the bar and headed over to our table shortly after. Norie was our waitress. She was outstanding and attentive. She made several menu recommendations, all which didn't disappoint. I love this place and will definitely return. Thank you, Tavern House Kitchen, for a great family celebration.

    I had an amazing dining experience here! The service was top-notch, thanks to our server Christian, who was attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! The grilled filet mignon steak skewers - tender, flavorful, and complimented beautifully by the crispy onions and rich Bearnaise sauce. The French onion soup was over the top! Incredible food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back!

    We had a wonderful experience dining it was for my birthday . The ambiance is perfect and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Would absolutely return again and recommend for any celebration!
