Tavern House is the creation of restaurateurs David Wilhelm and Gregg Solomon who have developed numerous Orange County restaurants over the past 25 years, including Kachina, Bistro 201, Barbacoa, Chat Noir, Diva, Sorrento Grille and French 75. The menu reflects a collection of Chef Wilhelm's popular signature seafood and comfort food dishes. A large centrally located bar drives a vibrant night time scene in what is arguably one of the best view locations in Newport Harbor. Tavern House has a beautiful 50 seat private room for banquets with full views of the harbor and a warm central fireplace.

I always enjoy visiting Tavern House. The meals are always delicious, but save room for dessert. Reasonably priced for the quality is service and cuisine. Don’t miss it.

Our FAVORITE restaurant in OC!! It’s the go-to spot for all occasions. We take all our out of town visitors - everyone LOVES Tavern House!! The food is always five stars - should be a Michelin!! The staff is the friendliest and most personable you will find here - starting with your initial greeting with the valet, Alfredo, greets me and is always a pleasure to see. They know first impressions are everlasting and their hospitality is absolutely phenomenal. Thank you Tavern House!!

Great experience. Went for my father’s 94 birthday. Had a great table with a great view. Not only was the food good but the service was great also. Recommend.

Service and food was excellent. The Prime Rib was very flavorful and the mashed potatoes, creamed corn and spinach complemented the meat which was great. The Chilean Sea bass was excellent. The dark chocolate mousse tort was a great ending to dinner. Tavern House continues to impress us with each meal we have there.
