Tavern in the Square located at the Lakeway Commons on route 9 in Shrewsbury. Our Tavern in the Square Shrewsbury location features an open floor plan along with a 50 seat bar that extends on to our patio. 50 beers on draft and a menu made with the freshest ingredients and our big screen TV’s to watch all your favorite sports teams. Our all season enclosed patio features dining tables, bar chairs, and a lounge area.

    We were there for a book club meeting. Service was excellent, and we appreciate that we were able to have separate checks without any problems and all was done accurately. Food was very tasty with generous portions.

    Everything was wonderful! All of our food tasted amazing, staff were very friendly and it had great ambiance with the dimmer lighting. We recommend the rosemary parmesan fries, Buffalo corn flake chicken tenders, and the tavern burger. It was so delicious! We will be returning soon to try more menu items!

    From the moment we walked in, we were greeted right away and escorted to our table where the rest of our party was waiting for us. Our waitress was great and friendly. The food tasted fresh and what we expected. Overall, we had an enjoyable lunch to end the hectic week. Will surely be back.
