   I met two friends at Tavern on South last night for drinks & dinner. Our server Brittany was excellent. She was attentive checking in on us periodically, brought our drinks & food timely, and got our orders accurate. Two of us had mahi mahi tacos which, while small portions, were delicious. The buffalo chicken dip was tasty with a big kick. Overall, we had a pleasant meal in a good atmosphere. Also love that this is essentially downtown with free parking, so an easy place to meet friends. Sadly they don't have a happy hour, but they do have a couple daily drink specials. Will be going back again.

   Invited 4 out of town co workers to come. Left embarrassed. Food was either very overcooked or undercooked. Server wasnt friendly nor attentive.

   The wait staff was terrific...very friendly and efficient. The Cowboy burger was the best burger my husband has tasted and grilled perfectly. We will definitely be back.

   My lovely wife and I chose to spend our Valentine’s Day at your establishment as first-time visitors, & we were not disappointed! You’re conveniently located, offer free & ample parking, & offer a quaint, 2-floor dining room experience. We had reservations for 7 & arrived early, fully expecting to sit at the bar & wait until it was time to be seated. Instead, however, we were greeted warmly and taken to our table upstairs. Everything else was excellent-The atmosphere, our drinks, our food, including the delicious strawberry shortcake we shared was on point, along with our server! We will be back!

   Nice to try something new I’m excited about the rooftop. I’ll come back in the summer. Delicious food, fun atmosphere.

   Our party of 8 had a great experience. Food was good all around. They were short staffed but our server hustled very hard to make our experience a good one. If you want a nice quiet place with great food I highly recommend.

   We took an out of town guest who specifically wanted and local Indy place - we chose this over Rick's Boatyard and we chose wrong. It's unfortunate b/c we've dined here several times and had great food & service - this time was WAY OFF mark! We called in advance to ensure they had either grilled cheese or chicken tenders for one of the guests and were assured they always have chicken tenders. Our server did NOT start off by saying what they were out of - but they were out of 2 of the 4 items we wanted (steaks????????? and buffalo cauliflower). Her reply was very indifferent saying they were getting a new menu so many things were gone. One assumes they would still carry steak??? We were initially told they were out of chicken tenders and that nearly made us leave - she checked and said they found some, I think they were leftovers and re-heated as they were quite crispy and darkened. One of our guests ordered salmon and asked for the sauce on the side rather than one the fish as noted - we were charged an extra .75 to have it on the side - not extra sauce, just to NOT drizzle it on the salmon and place it in a small ramekin. Our server seemed overwhelmed as she left w/ out taking all the orders???? nor did she check on us during the meal. Our out of town guest was not impressed and we were very disappointed.

   Food was terrible. Lentil bowl had cold vegetables, the gnocci Mac and cheese was also cold and grainy. Nobody was there, should’ve taken that as a sign. Service was good.

    Food was horrible, cold, and too spicy. Service pitiful. After food delivered no waitress stopped by for 25 minutes. Had to request check to leave. Maybe short staffed but no indication that was the case no apologizes no warnings, just ignored. We will never return do not recommend.
