   Traverna Toscana Finally, an upscale restaurant bringing a touch of class to downtown Bradenton! My wife and I decided to venture out last Friday night to try the newly opened Traverna Toscana, and it did not disappoint. The executive chef’s carefully curated menu was impressive, with the octopus standing out as our favorite dish of the evening. My wife, who rarely tries such cuisine, was pleasantly astonished by how delicious it was. The complementary lemon butter sauce? Simply unbelievable—so good! There are several other enticing items on the menu that have us eager to return. The main course was equally well-prepared and enjoyable. I opted for the 33-day-aged ribeye, which featured the perfect balance of a beautifully seared crust and a juicy, flavorful center. Cooked to perfection, it was a highlight of the night. To accompany our meal, we chose the 2021 Jayson Pahlmeyer Napa red. While the wine was delicious, it felt slightly overpriced—perhaps the Caymus would have been a better value. We ended the night with a lemon cheesecake, and all I can say is: WOW! If you’re looking for a wonderful dining experience in Bradenton, I highly recommend trying Traverna Toscana. This gem is sure to impress!

   This was a beautiful restaurant. Loved the piano being played in the corner and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

   Loved everything. We will be back. I had the short rib bolenaise and the meat was delicious. The meatball appetizer will be ordered again

   Love this restaurant but will not use open table again. Only reservations on OT were 5 or 8…staff told us there were plenty of reservations at other times but OT only listed early or late. Will go directly to the restaurant in the future

   Found this place on a whim and was very impressed with the entire experience! The service was excellent and the menu had so many good options, it was difficult to decide. We settled on the signature steaks and were not disappointed! The creamed spinach is my new favorite I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion or upscale night out!

   Outstanding Very interesting location and set up. Worth waiting to get in. Positive vibes from staff. Hostesses really tried hard. Food was exceptional. Osso bucco was largest shank I’ve ever seen. Rich. Cooked perfectly. Frutti Del Mar with fresh pasta was outstanding. Bar was good to great depending on which bartender you got. Smoked old fashions were superb. Took some home / which I never do!

   We enjoyed our visit to Taverna Toscana. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. There was live music the night we were there. To park in valet or the lot just down the block, you have to be willing to get around to the back of the building to enter. We will be returning for another great experience. Ace.
