    Tavernetta was great. We were seated in the “chefs table” area so we could see the kitchen action. Our servers were not as attentive as I would have expected and drink refills were slow. I also thought the portions could have been a little heavier for the price but taste was fantastic. Would absolutely come back again.

    Another girls dinner, celebrating our friends birthday!! The ambiance was great. Loved how there kitchen was out for everyone to see things being prepared. The food was great. The Branzino is a must have if you like fish!

    Excellent food. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the focaccia too. Quality ingredients. Server was nice but wanted to upsell constantly to the point it was uncomfortable. Neat space.

    Overall the experience was okay…the ambiance was great and I don’t have any complaints about the service. The kicker for me was the quality of the food and beverages, especially given the price. We had the burrata and focaccia to start, and both were fine. The starters made it to the table before the drinks, which normally wouldn’t bother me, but for a restaurant that won’t take your order until you’re ready to order all of your courses, this seemed strange. I had a mocktail that tasted so strongly of oregano that I didn’t want to have any more. When the entrees came, it was clear that they had finished my steak ahead of my partner’s pasta; everything on my plate was room temperature, and the steak was more on the rare side than the medium rare I’d asked for. We finished with the apple crostata, which was again, a bit disappointing. The gelato was good, but the crostata itself was room temperature and tasted off. Overall, nothing was terrible besides the mocktail; I just had higher hopes given the price point and reputation.

    Our waiter was attentive but as restaurant filled up we noticed a lack of service from waiter. Food was good. Not sure I’d go back

    We recently participated in the NYE special experience, which was advertised as a five-course meal with an optional wine pairing. While the food was excellent, the overall experience fell short in several areas. The service was disappointing; we had to wait approximately 15 minutes after being seated before we could flag down a server. Additionally, we were surprised by an "optional" extra course, which, while it turned out to be a highlight of the meal, created the impression that not ordering it would detract from the overall experience. The extra course came with a $90 charge, which felt misleading—why not just advertise it as a six-course meal for $265? This pricing structure seemed like a subtle attempt to upsell, especially in a romantic setting. While the food itself was commendable, the feeling of being taken advantage of has left us hesitant to return for similar experiences.
