Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille specializes in authentic and innovative Italian cuisine along with grilled steaks, seafood and hand crafted desserts. With an amazing team of Chefs and energetic onsite owners, Tavolo is well known for the quality of its classic Italian dishes as well as creative and exciting specials. All of our food is made from scratch using on the freshest ingredients. Local seafood is one of our specialties with fresh Swordfish, Halibut, Salmon, Scallops are just some of the highlights. We have an experienced in house butcher serving up bone in ribeye, veal chops, tomahawk cuts and much more.
Tavolo has received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019. Our extensive wine and craft beer list offers an unprecedented line up of craft beers and fine wines catering to all customers. The atmosphere is stylish yet casual and of course family friendly. At Tavolo, you will work directly with one of the owners, Sherri who will work with you to customize your event to meet your individual needs and desires. We offer an array of room setups and accommodations and menus that can be customized to your specific event and tastes. We have enclosed private rooms that can seat from 10 - 100 guests. All rooms have AV equipment access and availability. There are never any room charge rental fees at Tavolo and never a minimum spend. No hassles no complications!

It was not simply the best day for the restaurant, lets start with the bread, is was just regular supermarket bread since the bread the use was finished… we ordered a burrata plate, it came on a bed of thin bread (attempt of focaccia) drowned in sweet balsamic oil, the prosciutto was thick, cheese was not bad… it was just saggy and not right. For main course we ordered a Beef Lasagna, as it came it was sent back… salsa was just bottle ragu from the supermarket not acceptable, and the other plate was the scallops over risotto, the scallops were perfect! The risotto was just rice with broccoli and veggies not a risotto… 👎🏻

We went to Tavolo in Smithfield for Father’s Day and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the table they seated us at was perfect—right up front, with a great view of the restaurant’s energy without feeling crowded. The service was also top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal feel special. Highly recommend Tavelo for anyone looking for great food and an even better dining atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal and pre dinner drinks. It was as the first time there for 3 of the guests. They would definitely go back!

The wine was good. The food was terrible. 3 out of the 4 of us should have sent our meals back, but only 1 of us did. The chicken parm I sent back was so tough. I couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife and the other two in our group - chicken parm and veal parm - they were burnt, but the men ate them. Terrible dinner.

Stephanie is a real gem!! She is super attentive and friendly!!! Great service always!!! Food is always wonderful at Tavolo and wines are excellent!!! LOVE the Salted Caramel Gelato with Chocolate Chunks too!!! One of our favorite spots!!!!

Had a really nice night out at Tavolo in Smithfield. Absolutely love the Beet Salad and the Pan Seared Salmon. They have a great selection of beers on tap and of course wine. Little disappointed in the Lobster Ravioli. It had lots of sauce and not very many ravioli's. Great service and love the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
