   We are thrilled to have this dining option in the Highlands here in Breckenridge. We only shared appetizers for dinner but they were both excellent. We prefer European wine and though there wasn’t much of it on the menu there was enough. The service was also excellent, we will definitely eat here again and we recommend this restaurant.

   Trout was good. Steak was good. Chicken Marsala was minuscule. Service was excellent. Room should be kept warmer. Fireplace should be turned on. Location is convenient with good parking. This could be good.

   Amazing food!!! Was the best food we’ve had while vacationing here. Staff was amazing as well. Love this place

   Everything was set and ready to go for our party of 8. We had 4 kids and 4 adults. The food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. We had brussel sprouts, salads, steaks, surf and turf, chicken marsala, and some other dishes. We had drinks from the bar and they were great. Service and timing was excellent.

   We so wanted to like the new concept, but it’s hard to come up with anything other than location as a Pro. Cons: - despite a resy, no table was set for 6 when we arrived and we waited without any help… only 2 people plus a young kid working the dining room & bar an no hostess stand; felt very disorganized. - waited 55 mins to get basics drinks (wine, canned beer) to table - food was cold when it came out - prices didn’t match the experience… would be more appropriate to set up as a pub than a steak house - very cold and drafty… space is shared with the sleigh rides and no barrier to keep cold air out… and people were sitting down at both dining tables and tables next to dining table waiting for their sleigh rides… could have put up curtains to cordon off the space or run the sleigh rides from the lower level so the restaurant actually felt like one vs an afterthought charging steakhouse prices - insufficient staffing for busy time (5:30), though it was mostly empty when we left - no music, ambience or other decor or anything to make the space feel like more than a bar. Fireplace was off despite it being so cold inside. Would love to see a good concept and execution at this location, but despite a month of working out kinks, too many remain to think this could be it.

   Perhaps they were having an off night or were understaffed? Food was served cold, steaks weren’t cooked properly. We were also charged for items that we ordered but never received. Overall the restaurant wasn’t put together. The drinks from the bar were good.

   The bartender saved the day because when my Portobello dinner came out, it was basically one 6 inch in diameter portobello mushroom, grilled with maybe a thimble of vegetables on top and a pile of lettuce the size of a small donut, with nothing else. Nothing else was with the lettuce and it was wilted. We both looked at this disproportional small plate of food and laughed.  The bartender instantly knew whoever put this on a plate was clueless, and was either trying to insult us or was an idiot.  Luckily he immediately took it back and had them throw some more vegetables on it, but it was probably the worst example of poor quality control by whoever was in the kitchen and I’ve ever seen in my life. The bartender was a pro, and was serving a full bar while helping everyone around him. He needs a huge raise.

    It was very cold in the restaurant and the staff had no ability to turn off the overhead fan, turn on the fireplace or adjust the thermostat. Total lack of ambiance with bright lights and no warmth. Staff was very nice and tried hard to manage the crowd; and food was quite good.
