Tempo offers downtown quality and atmosphere in a convenient suburban location on, Moody Street in Waltham known as "Restaurant Row". The menu features a wide variety of fresh seafood, great cuts of meat, chicken, duck, and truly has something for everyone. Tempo is excellent for a date, great for groups, and the bar is a perfect place for singles and people watching. The cuisine rivals higher-priced alternatives and the staff is welcoming and eager to please. The bar offers the largest selection around and the wine list pricing is the best in Waltham. Delicious food, great cocktails, attentive wait staff even though it was a very busy night and a cool vibe, however it was very loud which could be attributed to it being very busy. Would definitely return!

The restaurant was quite full when we arrived but we were seated promptly and had good service throughout our meal. The food was very good. We had the philly steak egg rolls and beet salad for appetizers and the cashew encrusted icelandic haddock and the bee bolognese. We also enjoyed the cocktails, especially the"cocktail for a cause" which seems to be a riff on a bee's knees. Only small quibble was that when ordering off the menu, the order online information kept popping up time and time again - it was distracting. This is my third time at Tempo and I've enjoyed it every time!

We ordered cauliflower and Brussels sprouts that were too soggy with the balsamic vinegar. Seems the chef only know how to use this sauce. it is too over bearing. You can’t taste the vegetable and they were over cooked

My husband and I had the beet salad to start, it was excellent. Then we got 2 mains. The cashew haddock was excellent, one of the best dishes I have ever eaten and I highly recommend it. The spicy wild jumbo shrimp and scallops were good. Service was fine, it was early so not too much noise. Definitely going back!

Truly a great place. Cocktails were excellent and wine well priced. Food was delicious. I have a gluten allergy and this is not only a very safe place for me, but a place offering a wonderful atmosphere and service.
