   Worst experience ever! Service took forever, forgot our drinks two times and they rushed us out to turn it into a nightclub

   First I’ll start by saying they are way under staffed, I waited over an hour for a cocktail, I ended up having to go to the bar myself to get the cocktail. The food arrived about 1.5 hours in & although it had a decent flavor it was ice cold. The waitress didn’t know anything about the menu, and was very rude. We weren’t the only ones experiencing the poor service, the 2 couples on both sides of my table had their drinks and entrees mixed up, in other words they received each others drinks and dishes and decided to just go with it in fear of having to wait another 1.5 hour if they sent the dish back. Would I ever go again ? Absolutely not. First and last not worth the $200 at all.

   My wife and I went for Valentine’s dinner. Our reservation was for 6:45. We were promptly seated and the ambience was nice. After a half an hour, a server finally asked us for our drink order. 15 minutes later we had to flag down a server to order our food. After over an hour, we still had not received appetizers, so we flagged down the server and explained we had a show to catch. 15 minutes after that, we still had not received one bite of food. We ended up leaving without eating a thing. We watched as tables around us got all their courses and cocktails. It was unacceptable.

   Food was cold. Seemed like it was cooked in advance and then reheated. I ordered calamari and chicharon sliders. The calamari was already soggy when it came out. No crunch at all, and was cold. The Chicharon was cold and the bread underneath was already soggy all the way through and the bread used was a baguette. Baguettes take a longgggg time to get mushy like that and the chicharon wasn’t even hot. The presentation of the food was nice but it’s like a chef made it early in the day in case someone ordered it later and then left for the rest of the day. The drinks were good (only thing good there) and the service was decent. The first waitress had a bit of an attitude when we asked questions about the menu but I think she left and was relieved by another waitress who was super super nice. Ambiance was good though. If u come here, only come for drinks.

   This was the first time that anyone in our dinner party had ever frequented Tequila Escape. We were pleasantly surprised and the experience continued to get better as the evening progressed! Ambiance, cocktails, culinary experience, music, and dancing were highly rated by all. We will definitely be back!

   We really enjoyed this place. Tacos were tasty and fresh, and drinks made well. Mushroom blend was an exciting vegetarian option. Tuna tacos could use less sauce however. Service was polite and fast. Overall, a great place to enjoy Mexican food.

   Pros: Food quality and taste, atmosphere Cons: Expensive menu, very nice but somewhat inexperienced waiter (check error plus needed to hunt him down more than once). Three very rocky tables, had to move to a larger one which was then fine (how could they not know, all were very rocky not just a little bit). Had shrimp fajitas which were good, but for $31 were much more expensive than other restaurants that serve similar plus give you much more. These fajitas were only the shrimp, onions, green peppers, tortillas, salsa that was very garlicky, and sour cream. That’s it, no guacamole, no beans, no lettuce or tomato, etc. that most other restaurants provide for under $30. I didn’t get any tortilla chips and salsa but saw that another table did, not sure if they ordered them or if my waiter just forgot to offer them to me. The other table had a different waiter who seemed much more on top of things. I would be willing to try again if prices there were lower, but not at these prices.

    Food was okay. Service was very slow :/ we didn’t see anyone for the first 20 minutes we were there and then everything else was very slow.
