   This was our second time at this location. We were seated near the kitchen and it seemed like they just walked past us as they brought out meat selections. My husband stopped 2 different servers asking for what they had. He was told "we had a request both times". I guess his ask did not count as a request and he never got what he was most wanting to try. We had our daughter with us. She eats slower than us obviously, the server was clearing off our food and asked about hers...that she was literally still eating. I told her no, the waiter behind her said something to her and she just reached to take her plate anyway. I told her NO again. She finally left her alone. After about 10 minutes or so she was done. The sever literally never came back, my husband finally had to go ask for the check. It was frustrating that they wanted to rush her after barely giving us any service with cards on green, then have to be asked for a check. I do not see us returning to this location. You pay way to much for mediocre food and poor service.

   The manager at the Jacksonville location is outstanding. He aims to please and is very accommodating. He even went to the bar to shave the parmesan when the shaving were low. If you have an issue at all, he will take care of it.

   I’ve been going here since they opened years ago , and as fantastic as they were back then they’ve managed to improve even more now with new additions and fantastic offerings.

   Sooooo much BACON! This is certainly my favorite spot in Jax and way, way better than the chains with personalized service.

   Went to Terra Gaucha for a late Valentine's Day meal with my wife. We had reservations and only had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready. The food was awesome as usual! Servers came by with all sorts of meat for us to try. Since it was Valentine's Day we ended up with a free meal card for another time. There were a lot of nice things to try on the salad bar and buffet line as well. Try to go when a sale is going on, the full experience is around $60 per person before drinks and dessert.
