Since our opening in 2008, Terrain Cafe grew naturally from a small coffee shop nestled in the store to a full-service restaurant offering seasonally inspired brunch, dinner, and beverage menus. Our dedicated culinary team works closely with purveyors to ethically source fresh, high-quality ingredients that lay the foundation for our nourishing dishes. Each cafe's unique and deliberately designed environment blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing an inspiring dining experience every time. This specific cafe will always have unique roots, and we'll undoubtedly remain embedded in them as we grow.

    Eating at terrain was great for a girls brunch! They had delicious food and cocktails! Our waiter, Ash, was also great! Very personable and kind during our visit. Would recommend terrain!

    Lovely place to visit. The ambiance is great- twinkly lights and live greenery, beautiful floral arrangements and calligraphy brown paper signage. The menu was also good. Seasonal with unique flavor profiles that worked well together. The mushroom soup was excellent, and we also had a fresh salad that was simple but good. The chipotle pork was a nice Main. The meat was slightly dry, but the complexity of flavors and textures within the dish overcame this shortcoming. The bread baked in a terra cotta pot was very cute, as was the chocolate terrarium dessert. The coffee menu was extensive, so I’d love to come back for brunch. They also had multiple mocktail options in addition to their cocktail list. Overall, a nice place to visit and enjoy a meal!

    We loved the woodland tents! We decided it would be nice yo have a way to call the server if needed but otherwise it was a fantastic way to celebrate a 70th birthday !

    Great service, excellent food and our table was ready when we got there. The only con I would say, it is noisy and it was hard to have a conversation.

    Very happy the Woodland Village was back. The new semi-permanent tents are great. Just wish the wood stoves were still there - but understand the change. Service was good and food was good.

    Our server Jules was extraordinary. It was quite cold and our server and the manager arranged for the heat to be warmer. So thoughtful. The meals were all exceptional, including a wonderful cappuccino with a shot of espresso in it and a perfectly prepared pot of herbal tea. Not all of our party liked everything on the dessert board, so next time we will try individual desserts. Terrain Cafe at Glen Mills is a unique and special place.

    It's a delightful space with consistently good food. The greenhouse ambience is generally delightful but the noise level is too loud. I doubt that there's anything that can be done about it, and it doesn't seem to bother anyone (but myself and my dining companion). Today was uncomfortable though: somewhere in the back they kept opening a door (delivery? trash?) and frigid air would blast through. We had to keep putting on and removing our coats. We were freezing and uncomfortable. I won't go back until the weather warms up a bit!
