Food was delicious. Had a reservation and we were early but they still sat us immediately. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant is in a cool location, with several rooms including a sheeted in patio area. We sat in that section, and they had heaters to counteract the coldness, but it was still cold on one side of the body and hot on the other. Most of the indoor tables elsewhere were empty, and we had a reservation, so it would have been nice to be seated in a different room. The edamame hummus with fresh vegetables was the highlight of the meal. Very tasty. The mac and cheese had delicious roasted tomatoes on top, but was otherwise average. The gnocchi were dry -- it came topped with a solid scoop of something white that they said was the "sauce." They said they were unable to add protein to the house greens for our guest -- protein could only be added to the Cesar salad or the poached fruit salad, which was odd. The waiter was attentive, but unobstrusive, bringing our food and refilling the water efficiently. Overall, the food was ok (hummus is great), but the overall lunch seemed expensive for what we got.

Fantastic experience at The Abbey. From the coffee cocktails that were unique and very tasteful, to the old classic cocktails like the manhattan with a twist they were great. The place is not overly crowded and loud so you can hear your date and self which is refreshing. The food was 10/10. We did the mussels and crab dip which were cooked perfectly. Our main plates were the bavette steak and herb chicken and the flavor as well as presentation was amazing. Our desserts were sweet and tasty too. Staff were all super friendly and made great suggestions. Highly recommend.

The environment and ambience and aesthetic of the restaurant is so amazing. The food is very over priced and the quality is no where near that price point.

My friend and I stopped here for a bite before attending an art show a few nights ago. Fun nostalgic decor and atmosphere and we had a nice and friendly waiter. Menu is on QR code but you make payment directly to wait staff. One of the reasons we chose The Abbey was because it received good Google reviews along with a price range from $20-30, as opposed to $50 + as were most of the other Lawrenceville restaurants Google had listed. We split 3 plates between the two of us. The first was the Baked Brie with small pieces of sourdough bread (our waiter did bring extra bread). This was probably the most enjoyable plate. The brie was slightly well done on the outside, yet not as warm as we thought it should have been in the inside. However, it was creamy and tasty. The brie itself was $17. The "baquette" which I believe was the "extra sourdough" was $4.00. We also ordered the fried calamari. $18.00 did not seem like an unreasonable price for seafood and it was good in the sense that it was not overly done and chewy. However, the breading, while nice and fairly light, was unfortunately highly salty and we could not finish it. The Wild Mushrooms were our third dish which was $30.00. There were a few small mushrooms maybe 3 small carrots and 3 small potato bites spread pretty sparingly over a rather large plate and heavily doused in a lot of very salty brown sauce which seemed mostly to consist of soy. Thin rice croutons filled in the "blanks areas" between the sparse veggies on the plate. For desert we split a slice of $14.00 Gingerbread cake. Wow! It had about as much sugar in it as our other dishes had salt! The sugar definitely overpowered the ginger. Bill came to $115.00 with 20% gratuity. When a patron at the art show asked where we ate she told us that The Abbey used to be a wonderful place to have a good meal but now it's best to go there in the summer and sit on their outside patio for a drink. We would have to agree.
