The macaroni is the best! Great service from all staff especially the young man who is, I think, 2nd in charge? The place has a lovely atmosphere for lunch or post work drinks.

Booked a table for 7pm to watch the football starting at 8pm with a beer and a bite to eat. Tried to order food about 7.45 and were told the kitchen was closed. This wasn't mentioned on my booking, by the barstaff on arrival, or written anywhere that I could see. We finished our pints and left. The original admiral was a smashing place to watch the football with friends. Admiral woods is a poor imitation.
