The Ahwahnee Dining Room is temporarily offering an à la carte lunch menu from daily from 11 a.m - 2 p.m while our Ahwahnee Bar is temporarily closed. We will not be offering reservations at this time, lunch service will be walk ins.

    Buffet dinner was a surprising disappointment, desserts bland. As in the past I wore a sport coat but felt overdressed last night. Overcharged our wine due to their multiple menu versions and would not adjust. Prime rib and mac & cheese? Nothing creative about the food. Very disappointing. Dinner at The Ahwahnee is no longer a “bucket list” experience. The room is pretty. Thank you piano player, the only true plus to the night.

    Our servers Angelina and her helper Jazmine were wonderful. They kept our coffee hot and were very friendly and attentive!

    Construction occurring at hotel. Only buffet offered. $60+ per person. Phenomenal locale. Wait staff wonderful. But food mediocre. Rolls were grocery store quality. Desserts were very prosaic, unworthy of a fine restaurant Prime rib was very good but sides were just ok. Definitely not worth the cost.

    Considering the hype and the cost we were disappointed. Our table was positioned between two service stations, the buffet was not bad but not fine dining, guests badly dressed, atmosphere spoilt by renovation work. Has seen better times.

    The food was delicious, the service was outstanding they appeared when needed or just to check on us. We barely noticed the staff clearing a table and setting it for the next guest. Enjoyed and will return.

    The place is really nice. There was never any shrimp on either time I went to the counter it was always empty but everyone else talked about how good it was

    Buffett food could have been warmer but it was tasty. Probably more salad options. Prime rib was excellent; the fish was OK; chicken was dry. Desserts were tasty. Overall glad we did it, even knowing that they are rennovating.

    Dinner was a buffet, I was expecting to have a menu like before, also the attire was formal wear, but only few people followed the recommendations!! Very disappointed!! Such a formal and beautiful dining place
