    Exceptional, again!. This was our second year visiting the weekend before Christmas for an early afternoon dinner. Every part of the meal was perfect. The staff were friendly, courteous and attentive. The restaurant fell warm and welcoming and not over crowded but best of all, the food was incredible. Cannot rate The Anchor highly enough and you can be sure we will be returning next year.!!

    The food was delicious, although one of my friends only had one slice of turkey, which was a bit stingy. I had the veggie gnocchi, which is not usually my favourite thing, but it was yummy. I didn't have a starter, but those that did enjoyed them, and the puddings were lovely. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. This is my second visit to the Anchor Inn, and I would definitely recommend it.
