   Overall loved it! Great interior design. The only reason I didn’t give it full stars was because the music was VERY LOUD. We love music but it was so loud I could barely hear my husband talking across the table from me. You had to kinda yell at each other which is awkward when they have us sitting at a long straight booth together sitting very close to other guests. Food was great! We will go again but probably just to the back where the bar lounge is. Beautiful!

   Food was absolutely outstanding, from the oysters to the scallops to the fillet that we had. Wait staff was extremely helpful. Great experience.

   Short & Simple ... cramped and uncomfortable seating. Wait service was cordial, but not remarkable. Even though our entrees were delicious, they were not prepared in the manner that we requested. For example, the "Beef Duo" came to our table medium rare, as opposed to medium as we requested. Additionally, the beans in the cassoulet were not tender as they should have been ... they simple were not cooked through, sorry. Really looked forward to enjoying the tender, succulent gelatinous of the pork belly, but that was a fail because it was over-cooked! The tab for a party of four (4) without alcohol was high. The menu is ambitious, but needs refinement ... and better execution in preparation. For now, this falls into the "One & Done" category.

   Lovely brunch at the Avery with friends. We went at 9:30 on a Saturday and it was quiet, the wait staff were attentive and the food was perfect. It was nice to have a conversation in a restaurant where I could hear everyone, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. The free valet this month was a treat as well.

   Consistent quality and innovative food preparation, attentive but not overbearing service, expertly crafted cocktails. Pricey but we would rather dine out infrequently and enjoy sumptuous fare than frequently on mediocre fare.

   Attentive staff, easy to comprehend menu, comfortable seating, delicious food. I wish they included more history in the drinks menu of the fascinating place the Avery occupies.

   While the service was impeccable (thank you, Jesse and staff!), the entrees were cold and not great; lamb ragout cold, but tasty; truffle risotto just mush, so sad; raviolis tiny and so few; sole meurniere on potatoes was our son’s meal and he didn’t rave about it! Our son and daughter-in-law are highly experienced cooks. The good news is we all enjoyed the Samish Pearls oysters on the half shell and the Crispy Fried Baby Artichoke salad. To complete this birthday dinner, Jesse offered a Pistachio Soufflé with sauce anglaise and we all just melted with joy. Jesse and that soufflé mend all wounds! We will be back.

    The food was outstanding, I tried several dishes at our table and everything was so good. Really great service from the wait staff as well.
