The authentic cuisine was delicious, not too spicy nor over flavoured. The ingredients are fresh and well crafted & blended to create some great dishes. The ambience is bright & welcoming with understated chic making the surroundings great for relaxed, comfortable dining.

Lovely decor and ambiance. White wine was not served chilled although the waiter did do his best to get an ice bucket. The mark up on the wine is also excessive so limits your choice. I’d rather pay a corkage than pay too much for a below average bottle.Food was generally good but nothing special.

This was my first time at Bank and as we were there for breakfast it is probably not a fair reflection of the restaurant overall. The service was good, can’t fault that. But it was also very quiet (three tables the whole time we were there). The coffee I’m afraid to say was dreadful. The food was perfectly nice, and the portion sizes very generous. The forks are too small for a meal, sounds silly but it does matter! I wanted to love it here but I don’t think I’ll return for breakfast. Looking forward to trying it again for dinner one day soon!

Disappointing experience at The Bank. Despite visit in person ahead of time to discuss arrangements for our disabled friend our table position was not as agreed and less than ideal. The restaurant was very busy (not in itself an issue), but was unbelievably noisy. The music volume was ridiculously loud which resulted in people shouting to be heard, making the whole experience unpleasant. The service was very slow - we waited nearly 90 minutes for our main course ! There was no apology for the tardy service but rather drinks were topped up resulting in even more cost. Value for money was poor and some of the dishes not at all good e.g. chicken byriani was copious amounts of rice with very little chicken. We will not go back anytime soon which is a shame since we had a much better experience there a few weeks ago.

The lunch menu is a bit limited and small plates. Would like to see more evening menu options at lunch. Salmon was a bit dry.

Quite the worst experience my friends and have experienced locally and I have lived inv Rickmansworth for 50 years. The service was slow and when eventually we were able to order we were subsequently told they had no onion bhajis. Hot plates were delivered but the food came 20minutes later when they had become cold. There was a considerable draught whenever the front door opened. The fod was ok but overpriced for the quality. At the end of the meal the bill was presented which we divided and paid. The waitress then appeared a stated we had underpaid albeit the revised bill contained all the same items but totalled £15 extra. The poor girl did not know what to do and there was no effort made by the management to help her. AWFUL! Never going back!
