Made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance. We waited to be addressed when we arrived for at least 5 minutes. We were seated in a completely different section of the restaurant than what we reserved. It was at least 30-35 minutes before a server acknowledge us by bringing us a cup of water. It was another 20-30 minutes before we received our drinks and ordered our food. This was only my second time there but we will not visit again on a weekend. Food was great with the exception of the fact that they apparently ran out of mayonnaise the night before. Being located across the street from a Kroger confused us that they could not go and buy mayo to get through a busy Sunday brunch.

I deeply regret to say that our experience at The Bartonville Store was profoundly disappointing, warranting a zero-star review. Despite being seated for over an hour, we never received our food. The lack of service was immediately apparent, with no attention from staff for the first 15 minutes. Even more astonishing, after waiting an excruciating hour and ten minutes without any sign of our order, we discovered that our server was, in fact, the manager. This revelation only compounded our frustration, as it underscored a troubling lack of oversight and accountability. While I appreciate the challenges restaurants can face, the complete absence of communication, service, and delivery was unacceptable. We left hungry and disheartened, unable to recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a reliable dining experience.

The place is perfectly fine for a casual meal. The reasons I gave it three stars are: 1) the website is misleading. The previous chef's menu is still featured and it's clear that they had more creative dishes like Wagyu Benedict. I would not have made the reservation had I known that they currently offer more basic fare. 2) the service was just ok. The first person tried to seat us right by the door, and I asked to be moved, which seemed like a big deal. There was no one else in the place at the time and she said she was worried about being too busy. When we left over an hour later, the majority of the tables were still empty.

We love coming here for the food, drinks, and live music. They always have the best live music! Oh and the owner and manager are terrific people as well!
