A lovely country pub, offering a warm welcome, great food and excellent service. We took our granddaughter for a meal to celebrate her 18th birthday and had a lovely meal. We would highly recommend The Bell and look forward to going back for another meal.

One of my favourite gastropubs in the country (yes…country). Lovely old building; super people; first/class food; excellent selection of wines; chilled ambience; roaring fire. Need I say more? Thank you again.

Much improved since we visited last (a year or more ago) and offering a good range of food options on the menu, plus specials, and the food was very fresh and tasty (especially the fish and chips). Great friendly service from the new team and would look to go back and would highly recommend trying if you are looking for dining in the area.

A fantastic lunch at the new and improved Kersey bell. A welcome sight at the end of a relatively long walk with our toddler from Hadleigh. Roast sirloin of beef with all the trimmings, cooked to perfection, and carved to order. Very important with a roast, not roasted and sliced the day before and reheated. This was the proper good stuff. 2 thick slices of perfectly cooked rare sirloin of beef with a decent bit of fat on, the good stuff Jam like red cabbage, nicely roasted root veggies, a proper homemade Yorkshire pudding and a nice gravy. This is how a roast should be done, and puts most of the other local offerings to shame. The menu is simple, a handful of starters, and a nice selection of roasts. This is all you need on a Sunday, too many places over complicate things. The children’s menu was very reasonable, £10 for main course, two sides, unlimited squash, and a dessert. The service was superb, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Bravo The Kersey Bell, see you next Sunday x
