We hadn’t returned the Black Sheep since before the pandemic, but we were pleasantly surprised on our most recent trip. We had a friend up from Los Angeles and had a fantastic dinner. We opted for the 4-course tasting menu consisting of 9 dishes, and every dish was excellent. Our waiter was knowledgeable and provided us with an exceptional wine recommendation to compliment our meal, and the entire staff was gracious and welcoming. We have been fortunate to have Michelin-star dining experiences, which I would rate as comparable. We will be returning in the future. Be sure to add on the Adult Bread & Butter if you opt for the tasting menu.

Tasting menu was perfectly balanced, beautifully plated, and absolutely unforgettable. Besides the food , service was fantastic Kim made our evening even more memorable with her awesome hospitality. The dark chocolate cake was a delectable combination of sweet with a creamy, velvety texture. I will be coming back here all the way from Los Angeles

Phenomenal 9 course tasting. Exceptional service and food, they took great pride and detail in every dish. It was our anniversary and they helped up celebrate with providing an unforgettable experience. This place is a must if you’re visiting Santa Barbara. 5 stars A++

What an unexpected surprise with this top of the line restaurant. The four course tasting menu was unique and truely enhanced our fine dining experience. The waiter was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable, who made the evening very comfortable. It was a memorable night and we'll be going back again when up in Santa Barbara.

Lee ordered the pre-fixe meal for two. Amazing options and a great way to try a number of menu items. The food and service were both excellent and we plan to go regularly.

We had the Chef’s Tasting Menu which was superb and the way to go when confronted with such delicious choices- just let the Chef choose! The owner Rueben came by to make sure all was well and gave us complimentary glasses of Port for my birthday! The staff work cohesively and were fun to engage with. We definitely will be back, thank you!
