Once again a lovely meal with freinds, staff attentive without being in your face, food value for money and nice cocktails. Bar area nice for drinks after meal.

Service slow and food not great for the price tag. Two of the party got a spaghetti prawn dish and both said it was so dry and had to ask twice for like a chilli oil to make it more interesting. I asked if it was possible to have another option for a veggie dish, it wasn't, so I just had to have 3 side dishes. The other vegetarian said the dish was disappointing anyway so was lucky with my sides. Deserts were meant to be Eton mess, basically melted ice cream with a sprinkle of meringue on top. Felt a little ripped off with buying 5 of these at £6.50 each for strawberry ice cream. They initially forgot to bring one out but once reminded and it arrived, it was much prettier than the others with strawberries on it. Shame really cause I've been wanting an excuse to finally eat here and parents ruby anniversary seemed a good one, should just have stuck with the bowfield.

3 of us dined at Lunchtime. 2 of the mains were good but, the macaroni cheese was dry and tasteless. My husband had a couple of spoonfuls but left the remainder. The waitress offered a free coffee. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this dish.

Good food, great service as usual and attentive staff. We visited on the hottest day of the year and staff were ensuring customers had plenty water to keep hydrated.

Lovely meal, roast beef dinner. Slight delay in dinner arriving but apologies made by the waitress due to the kitchen being so busy. Nice ambience. Friendly staff.

Nice table and decent view, meal was fine and enjoyable. Staff very good. Only issue was when entering from the car park side it was not clear how you got to the restaurant! We ended up going upstairs to some empty rooms and found a stairwell blocked with chairs - not a good start!

Great restaurant, although not being able to view menu online meant we had a slight mis-step when we arrived as the wife is vegetarian but the only option on the evening menu was stuffed pepper. But the girl serving us approached the chef and, hey presto, a smashing vegetable curry was whipped up. Nice and spicy. Our second time here and will head back but check the menu first.
