   Was recommended to visit by a friend. The chair was full of crumb dirty marks when I arrived table has bits on it so was disappointed with the cleanliness. The servicing staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable on the menu and could don’t smarten up their appearance and at least iron their clothes. This might seem fussy but if front of house standards aren’t great it makes me wonder what the kitchen is like . Can’t fault the food it was all good quality fresh and tasty. Was nice for lunch but wouldn’t go back for a social occasion again.

   Excellent, as always. We had the flat iron chicken with peppercorn sauce and twice cooked chips this time. Delicious.

   Lovely food, good selection of beers and wines, good service in a pleasant environment. Can be a little noisy at times, but so can most places.

   Everything was lovely except the fish of the day. Sea bream which looked and tasted like it had been deep fried twice! Not at all what we were expecting Our friends meals were lovely

    A super lunch today. Staff attentive and engaging. Food was super and tasty. Not cheap but well worth the cost. We have been several time and have always had a super time.
