A warm welcome from our family lead team, a seasonal menu of European and British dishes sourced from fresh seasonal ingredients sits along side a regularly changing specials board. Simon, Tom and the kitchen team are incredibly passionate about their food and offering dishes that you will want to eat.

A well chosen range of wines, beers and spirits, sourced from local suppliers offer something for every thirst!

The pub has a great feel with a statement dining room, dog friendly Agricultural Bar and unique and stunning garden for the sunny days. We hope everyone will enjoy their visit to us

    Family event to celebrate a birthday. Very busy as it was £12 Tuesday. Excellent service and great quality food. Had a lovely evening.

    We had booked last minute so we were seated at a table in a busy area, near the noisy coffee machine and next to the back door so it was cold. Other than that, the food was superb and the service was spot on. We had roast dinners and will definitely be back for more! The staff were run off their feet but were very attentive.

    Friendly staff. Lovely ambience. Food was served quickly and staff were aware we were celebrating a birthday. So we never felt rushed. Both the mains and puddings were delicious and portions were just right. I personally have been to the Boars half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. I'm always happy to recommend.

    Cote du boeuf perfection. Four sides, two sauces and enough perfectly cooked beef for four people not two, what is not to like? Staff friendly and ambience great. With the £15 off January voucher, value was also excellent.
