   Was disappointed with all our meals for the price we paid. The chicken and salmon In poke bowls were dry and had no flavour at all. The fish burger was too oily and the $52 platter was very basic. Won’t be back to eat again.

We are disappointed that you did not give us the opportunity to rectify these issues on the day you dined with us with raising it with our staff - we would have been happy to replace or provide alternative meals as it's important to us that our guests enjoy their meal. The pan fried salmon and deep fried chicken are both cooked to order for our poke bowls & come with a sauce on the side to dress the dish, but our staff recall that this was not used by your table. We have passed on your comments to our head chef about the food as we are always keen to improve our offering, but we hope that you'll reconsider and try us again in the future.    Menu, location and service were all fantastic. We had a party of 8 for a pre Christmas celebration. The staff went out of their way to add some simple Christmas decorations to the table. It meant so much. Our waitperson was very friendly and nice. Nothing was too hard for him. Fantastic menu that catered well for all of us dining. Well done everyone.

   Quite pleasant decor. Seated next to a very large party celebrating a birthday, consequently quite noisy. We ordered the duck and asian fish, it was a great shock to see the portion size of the duck, extremely small with just a very small portion of salad greens (the duck was overcooked, no crispy skin and just warm, my companion felt it had been zapped in the microwave). Disappointing, that the waiter did not suggest ordering sides as it was a very small meal. The Asian style fish was pleasant, not enough sauce, nor hot enough. I ordered lemon meringue (their take) in a glass, very nice - was supposed to have shortbread (which was missing) otherwise very nice. My companion ordered chocolate/strawberry desert- laughably small, 3 minute rosettes choc mousse + 3 minute rosettes of marscapone + 3 x 1/4 pieces of strawberry $16.00. Ridiculous. Potentially, a nice place to go for a meal, but portion sizes need to reflect $ charged. A side should be included or waiter needs to be more knowledgeable about meals and what is or is not ncluded

We work closely with our team and aim to provide all our guests with delicious food along with good, friendly service, so we take all feedback on board and use it as an opportunity to improve. We have one or two new staff recently and have been providing further training to them. We would ask that you please advise of any issue with your meal at the time to give the chance to fix this for you - we would have been more than happy to provide you with a replacement, or alternative dish. The lemon meringue dessert has a shortbread crumb that is within the dish - our apologies this was not clear on our menu. Our summer menu started last week, under our new head chef, so we hope that you’ll consider giving us another go. The Boat Shed Lake Hume Team

   Nice place to eat, not a great variety on the menu. Starter was brought out last and only half a pizza. Waiter held the bottle of water at the neck of the bottle, not good. Parmi slightly over cooked

   Our party of 14 enjoyed the barramundi thai curry, and the beef steak, very much. Cleared plates after mains in good time for the birthday cake.

   Incredible view, top notch food, would definitely go back again. The staff were super friendly and even turned down the music when we said one us had sensory issues. Greatly appreciated it :)

   On Father's Day we had the pleasure to dine at the Boat Shed Lake Hume. The menu is great, it caters for some dietary requirements such as vegetarian and gluten free. The food was very good, nicely presented, and generous serves. The perfectly cooked steak came with delicious large field mushrooms which you hardly ever see in restaurants in rural towns. The customer service was exemplary. The team was professional, efficient, helpful, and just downright amazing. We haven't experienced service like that in years. Definitely returning soon.
