   We had a lovely lunch. The staff as always were so friendly and the food was delicious. My only feedback would be to sort out the ladies loos. They were dirty and overrunning with loo paper everywhere. The loo seat in the cubicle I used was wonky and in need of repair. for such a lovely venue, this really lets it down. The restaurant was really busy and I appreciate there would have been a lot of traffic in and out of the loos, but it’s a real let down and doesn’t keep with the rest of how good the place is. Thanks.

   Beautiful setting overlooking the River Thames at Boulters Lock. Service was extremely professional and on arrival this made an excellent impression. Our table for 2 was next to the verandah overlooking the river so the view was superb. The menu was very good and they had a lovely specials menu. My wife had the cod in a curried potato and spinach sauce and I had the steak Diane - both of which were delicious, well presented and decent size portions. I had the aubergine for starters which was also very good. We had a lovely bottle of wine with the meal and the total bill was under £100. We are already planning our next visit. (PS Car parking is not great at the restaurant itself with only a few spaces available so you will need to drop off and then park the car in the nearby Boulders Lock car park which is a 5 min walk away).

   Great venue, good choice of food, well cooked, and presented. Busy Bank Holiday Sunday but the service was a bit sporadic. Our main waiter Jake was very helpful with excellent customer service skills.

   We booked a table for 4 people (Sunday lunchtime). We arrived and the table was not prepared. The waiter took the order for drinks but before we were finished giving him the order, he just rushed off.. Very strange. He then took ages to bring the drinks and when he finally did, he literally "plonked" the glasses on table, not bothering to place them. We were given the menus which I presume being a Sunday had a very limited selection. But you would be expecting a little more variety. There was not a single salad on the menu. Quite surprising indeed. I asked if they had a chefs specials menu, for the day, the board eventually arrived 15mins later! And that just had 2-3 choices. Our meals arrived and i had to ask if we could have cutlery as the WAITERS were just walking away. NO CUTLERY!!! Service is VERY poor! No attention to detail! Apart from where the Boathouse is located, which is so pretty and worth the view, everything else about our dining experience was DISAPPOINTING. I could easily have been in a Weatherspoons and at that would have paid much, much less. So disappointing!! Only worth the view.

   Another amazing meal at my wife’s and my favourite venue. Kitchen and staff all on top form. Adjustment to booking time was accommodated. We were welcomed ‘back’ by Agatha our server who recognised us from previous visits which was a nice touch. The kitchen produced creative dishes, aubergine and pomegranates etc with fresh and where possible locally sourced ingredients that were super tasty. The sublime views from the terrace defy adequate description. It takes a lot to beat this establishment on so many levels. Thanks all again for your hard work and dedication.

   It’s been a great spot but it’s starting to look pretty tired. Needs a thorough clean - floors/wash rooms etc are a bit grubby & everywhere needs a refresh! The menu is good but presentation is pretty lacking & they seemed understaffed when we went. The rice noodles in the salad I had were swimming in soy sauce & the watermelon component was a pretty stingy serve. They’ve been better & I hope they will be again soon!!

    Achingly beautiful scenery , nice menu , well cooked - but the service was a little slow - however it was super friendly (starters came really quick , but mains were the slow end of acceptable made worse by slow service ) Would definitely return , great place and nice people
