   We love the Boathouse for weekend brunch. Disappointed they did away with kids items like French toast sticks. Now it’s just a very limited few lunch items to choose from for brunch (nothing breakfast). Also the portions even for appetizers seemed to have shrunk. Will still return however as it’s close and they do reservations so we like it.

   Quickly seated; the bartender ended up being our waiter, and was prompt and courteous at first. Once he got busy (not his fault), his ability to focus on his tables diminished. The food was excellent, and came with a fair price. Overall, a good dining experience.

   Excellent server -very attentive! Food came out in timely manner and was delicious! We loved our drinks - Manhattan, Cosmo, Pinot Grigio, and Mojito! Appetizers, especially the fried oysters and Brussel sprouts, were excellent! Fried shrimp, scallop entree, and blackened salmon were exceptional! The best was saved for last! The Creme Brulee’ was creamy and perfect with fresh strawberries and blueberries! Great experience!

   Will never go back there again. The people were nice but the food was below average and overpriced. Steaks were overlooked, shrimp & grits were terrible. Oysters Rockefeller barely had any oysters. Very sad because it is a nice location.

   The view at The Boathouse never disappoints. I was a little disappointed with their menu. They seem to have fewer choices now.

    Obviously the seller here is the location, food is ok but definitely way overpriced and service is lacking every time we come here...this time we waited forever for our drinks which arrived after our food, the coffee that was ordered with dessert never showed up, male server (who we dont remember introducing himself) did not even acknowledge that the coffee was missing when we asked for it nor did he apologize when we asked for the check and had that coffee taken off, he really seemed not to care much at all about our dining experience - all in all good spot for a quick drink, definitely not worth for us coming back for food or being regular customers.
