Lovely experience for our yearly Reveillon dinner. The food was incredible and Jen, our server, was a delight!

When I made my reservation there was no indication at possibly being placed at a table outside. It was 40 degrees and we were put outside without anyone calling us ahead of time. That is poor management and poor customer service. There were heaters but my friends were shivering the entire time. Food, atmosphere and service were good.

Waiter-ok Ordered Reveillion and after 1st course I was told they had no Duck... Basil Spaghetti is NOT equivalent to Duck Confit! A more organized restaurant would have a suitable substitute. I was stuck paying $65 for spaghetti. And it wasn't good. The tuna tartar was excellent, but the only anyone at the table actually enjoyed. A manager should at least visit the table once the customer complains the way I did. The popup Christmas bar had good drink offerings that most everyone in our party of 10 enjoyed, but the food quality and service was to be desired.

I made a reservation for a standard table for their holiday experience and they tried sitting us at two different bars instead. They only let us sit at a table in the non-holiday room if we promised to be out by a certain time. When we asked what the best way to make a reservation for a table that we want they could not give us an answer.

My basil spaghetti was delicious as was the duck confit eaten by another diner. Another diner had speckled trout which he was unimpressed with. Parts of the fish were undercooked and some parts were overcooked.

Cocktails were good, but their version of an Old Fashioned(can't remember what they called it) was served in a heavy ceramic coffee mug...ugh! Bread- Cheese small plate was nice. Kinda haloumi- like. Chicken Parm was very good, accompanied by perfectly cooked pasta. The papardelle was a bit too acidic/tomatoey for my taste. Server was very good. Overall experience a solid B. We would go back.

Hello Steven, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry your cocktail was served in a heavy mug - definitly an overflow from our holiday popup at the Bower Bar. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your other dishes though! Happy holidays & best regards, The Bower Management Team
