   We had been to the Bower previously and was a great meal, so we were excited to go back. Different story this visit. The food was awful. The feta dip was very salty, even for feta. The basil pasta was a mealy, gummy tasteless mess. Was difficult to eat. I’m not sure I would go back.

   This is a very nice quaint location - the food was very good and the service was even better! Drinks were made nicely and the attention to our table was excellent. Not too loud so were able to have good conversation without yelling over one another. Highly recommend this location.

   The food was decent. I wish it were hot. I thought the prices could have been better for the value and quality of the food. It was a good birthday celebration overall!

   I am well traveled and expected much more than pasta and bread on the Chef’s Tasting. Very mediocre at best for the price paid. We expected much more. The entree’s was carb filled and little to no protein.

   Business dinner. Chose this place due to high rating. It must be made up of bot submissions. Took a very long time to be initially greeted by our server, who happened to be the best part of the evening. Each drink order round took 10-20 minutes to arrive throughout the evening. When tried to order some small plates and charcuterie to start, we were informed that our entire order needed to go in at once because the chef prefers it that way. Now we are all expecting to have the best meal we have ever had. Low and behold it was far from the best. Mediocre at best. One guest said their steak was over cooked, another reported their octopus was over done and they ultimately only really had a plate of fingerling potatoes because there were little evidence of either octopus or tenderloin. The 2 charcuteries were severed on wax paper on top of a pizza pan, and did not represent the rest of the presentation and certainly misrepresented the price tag. Finally, they do not split checks. They do divide the bill up to a max of 4 times, but it must be evenly.

   Dinner was amazing. We had the lobster roll special and shared a bunch of small plates. Everything was so good and service was spot on. Can’t wait to go back.

   Our waitress was super busy (we went on a Friday night) but her positive energy was delightful. Food was very good. Favorites were the radiatore pasta, lamb meatballs and the strawberry shortcake dessert.

    I only had an appetizer - the “whipped” feta. The flavors were okay, but it was clear that the cheese had been sitting for some time in the fridge - a little crusty and cracked where it had dried out, and was rather thick. Still enjoyable, but probably wouldn’t order again. It was a VERY slow night and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.
