   Everyone else’s food looked delicious but mine (soba noodle salad) was bland and not pleasant. Otherwise experience was good. Despite being frantically busy (some dishes unavailable, food wait was 40+ mins but they told us when we ordered), the team running the place were calm, professional and friendly and kept their cool when many wouldn’t. The view is spectacular also. I will go again (and order something else!)

   Overall a good choice for brunch, great location for the ocean view and watching the passing parade. The staff were friendly and attentive. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Only minus was that we had to get up 3 times to order different things and it was a big step up through a crowded dining area to get to the service area. Table service would have made the experience more pleasant.

   The Bower is sensational. The food is divine (especially the Green Goodness Bowl) and the view over Manly and out to the Pacific Ocean is spectacular. Beyond words. The Espresso Martini at the Bower is the best I’ve ever had. 10 stars!

   Loved our first time at the Bower. The soba noodle salad was delicious and the view of water beautiful. Thanks for accomodating our booking and move indoors at short notice. Can’t wait to come again !

   Always a lovely location at the Bower and we had reserved a great table for our Christmas gathering. The food is reliable here and well priced. You can't beat the view!!

   What a magical spot. Hidden in the backstreets of Manly East and with a view to literally kill for, this little spot is such a refreshing gem to sit and escape. I had the Bower Burger which was perfect (quite huge actually) with crispy chips and cooked to perfection. My friend had fish & chips which was the 2nd time he'd ordered that there and reported that it was absolutely delicious. The menu is small but very well done. Coffee is excellent too. We enjoyed some wines which were chilled and promptly served. The staff were mostly from the UK and were super friendly. It's such a great place to sit and watch the world go by (and a few whales & dolphins if you're lucky too). I've had breakfast here too on a few occasions and that was superb as well. They do sunset drinks over the summer period and it's well worth the visit on a nice evening.

    Love this restaurant. There was some roadworks happening which was a little sad but overall this cafe s location is incredible and the food always a high standard and staff are friendly. Will book again.
