   The service here has gone down, stood at the bar and was ignored, food took far too long and was merely warm. Some staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. I have previously given good reviews of this place, they have now lost my custom. On another point, why have a football match playing in the restaurant when they have a bar and outside areas with it on?

   Food took an hour to arrive which wouldn’t have been such an issue if we weren’t on a timeline to be somewhere. One dish didn’t appear to have been ordered but was out relatively quickly. The dish then came with a gravy that wasn’t noted on menu which contained alcohol which made not possible to eat as allergic. Other food was quite nice but left one person unable to eat. The roast dinner was sizeable. Disappointing visit but with more time might give another go

   The food was absolutely lovely but the service today was very poor. The girls serving were rushed off their feet and doing their best but some people had such a long wait. It’s a shame as I couldn’t fault the food

   All in all - excellent! I had the pork which was ‘melt in the mouth’ and my husband had the steak and Stilton pie - beautiful food. The staff were very attentive and The Bulls Head should be very proud of them. Wished we lived nearer and could eat there again!
