   Get the chicken parm!!! Two of the folks at our table got the chicken parm and boy was it amazing; so crispy and the sauce sweet, thick, and perfect. The short ribs were dry and the chicken in the alfredo was dry. The "signature" dessert - some kind of fried angel food cake was terrible - it was burnt - not friend - just awful. And our server as sweet and beautiful as she was - had too many tables and not enough help. And at one point after we requested drinks for a second time - she asked us to remind her about them after she took a huge table order. No one walked around to bring or fill waters or bring bread - she was pretty much left on her own. We had to ask about dessert btw - it wasn't offered. And somehow they ran out of Coke. We love the ambience at the Cabin especially this time of year - they go all out on the decorations - maybe they should use that money for more help.

   Every December we take an evening to have dinner at The Cabin. This year all four dinners and drinks were perfectly prepared down to the detail of perfect green beans. Service was extremely good by everyone from the time we came in the door. And the decorations and atmosphere are always magical and the main reason we make at least one trip out there around Christmas.

   the truck did not come? and many items on the menu were not available. we had a reservation and did not want to go to another restaurant. the martini and wine were excellent and so was the service. ambiance is beautiful with the winter decorations.

   The Cabin is a wonderful holiday experience. The decorations are amazing. I can only think that the management has let these poor employees down. They were out of food, ketchup and I felt horrible for the employees. They were only the messengers.

   We were quickly seated at our table, but after about 10 minutes, we noticed that no one had come to serve us. If we hadn’t asked for assistance, we would have waited even longer. Eventually, a server came (Lauren) and mentioned she wasn’t sure who our designated server was, but she would help us out. She was really kind, and we appreciated her efforts, though it was clear she had a lot on her plate. She brought us water and bread, but it was 30 minutes before we could place our order. After another 30 minutes without food, we requested more bread since we were quite hungry. Our meals didn’t arrive until over an hour after we ordered. By that point, we had already filled up on bread and only managed to finish half of our dishes, taking the rest home. The food was decent, but not exceptional. In total, our dining experience lasted over two hours, with only about 15 minutes spent actually eating. Once again, Lauren was fantastic and did her best given the situation.

   This is a wonderful experience to have lunch or dinner at the Cabin. The building is a cabin from the 1800’s decorated for the holidays like a winter wonderland. It has a huge wood burning fireplace with every inch of the place done in Christmas trees, lighting and Christmas decor including the ceiling. The food and drinks are nothing but spectacular and the service is impeccable! Don’t walk but run to get a reservation for this truly once in a lifetime experience!

   Terrible service, we sat down at our reservation time at 6 PM. Server did not take our order till 6:50 PM, told us four different times she would be back with bread which we never received during our entire meal. One of our party ordered shrimp for her salad and was told to order off the menu and they don’t have that. However, the restaurant does have great Christmas decor.
