   This is our 4th visit to St. Armands Cafe and again impressed with the service, drinks, food and ambiance of the redo of this anchor restaurant that has been resurrected from the key's October hurricanes. THANK YOU for coming back!

   Don’t expect Cafe Europa’ how the decor is inviting, menu somewhat limited. Overall worth a night out.

   Inside is rustic with exposed brick & lively bar. We sat outside because when the weather permits, you sit outside. I thought the raised area would be fun for people watching but out little bistro table was next to the outdoor menu where people stopped to check it out. Not sure about that location (especially while eating). We told the server (older gentleman who didn’t introduce himself & was not engaging.) The other servers seemed much more personable. We ordered poloma’s. Maybe the bar was backed up. Quite a while later very attractive glasses with a black salt rim were delivered. I didn’t like it but rather than wait for our server to return I let my husband have mine. We ordered the pulpo appetizer and branzino entree to share. He had them delivered at the same time. Maybe he misunderstood. (even though we said to share several times). Everything was delicious. I think service does effect the experience. It’s worth a return. Hopefully not with that server. We did witness him chatting up another table. Maybe they were regulars.

   Delicious appetizer place. Needs more core dishes and needs to work in slider recipe for burgers. Just ok. Pizza was a hit soggy, work on crisping that crust and it will pop.

   Cafe Europa was our favorite restaurant in Sarasota area. Cafe on St Armands is our least favorite restaurant. What happened to this fine dining establishment? The menu has been destroyed. What once had some of our favorite dishes now serves sliders. Only saving grace was our server Alex who was the best as usual.

   Love this place !!! Everything we’ve ordered so far has been tasty and fresh. Wide variety of choices to please everyone’s palate:)) Huge bar in the back of restaurant that we haven’t tried yet … I think it’s still under the radar a bit since opening after hurricanes ….. but food quality soooooo much better than the neighboring restaurants. Great choice of restaurant if you want to stay on LBK for dinner/lunch.

    Bring back the old menu!! This attempt at Mediterranean small plates is poorly conceived and a terrible fit for the core customer . This menu is very limited and the quality has fallen off significantly. We were customers of CafeL Europe for over 20 years but will not return until the menu changes. Very disappointing! There are many quality options in Sarasota and St Armands- this is not one of them!
